It took four overtimes and over sixty rounds on de_inferno, but mTw finally came through to win the second EPS Nordic III semifinal.
Starting out on de_train as Terrorist, fnatic were from the beginning not able to withstand mTw's immense force which let the Danes power stomp their contenders with an impressive half-time score of 13-2.
After switching sides, mTw made the story short by concluding the match after securing three rounds, while fnatic managed four, leaving the overall score at 16-6.
Moving on to de_inferno, the Danish powerhouse once again proved to be the dominant side, but they were not able to repeat the similar, impressive score which they posted on de_train. mTw ultimately closed down the first half at 9-6 as Terrorist.
fnatic managed to gain ground after the side swap, collecting four rounds to mTw's one, tying the two up at 10-10. fnatic eventually gained even more ground to post a lead of 14-11, leaving mTw to have to win the remaining rounds in order to avoid a third map.
What the Danes pulled off next was simply amazing display of Counter-Strike action. The DH Summer 2010 champions managed to keep fnatic on a leash for them to gain enough rounds to take the match into overtime, only losing one round to four.
Astonishingly, it took a total of fourovertimes for the match to be settled. Both teams definitely displayed what they are capable of, but ultimately, mTw came out victorious with a 36-33 score, overall 2-0.
